My Story

"If you want something in life - go get it"... a quote that I took quite literally in 2016 when I decided to make a much needed change in my life.

At the time I was a 26 year old, wife and mother of two who shopped in her parents kitchen for groceries, drove on fumes, and lived in a constant state of dissatisfaction because I wasn't happy with where I was at in life. Drowning in monthly bills, but crippled by the cost of daycare. My husband worked long and hard but all the same it wasn't enough. I was a young women, who at the time who felt like a complete failure, zero help to my husband and terrible provider for my two children. Not because they knew any better, but because I knew, this couldn't be how I continued to show up for them.

Raised by the two most incredible humans, I grew up with a strong work ethic and faithful spirit. As a Capricorn, I am innately motivated, focused, positive and willing to take on any task to achieve success. I always dreamt of finding success in a career that would allow me to be the type of mother who could be at every soccer game, dance practice and pick up line. Who could give her children anything and take them anywhere! Somehow, in the process of trying to figure out life when things got hard with two little ones, I lost who I was and the vision I had always dreamt about.

It didn't feel good, to feel so bad all the time. In my state of defeat, I started to ask myself tough questions of how and why. As I asked myself these questions, I started to wake up. I realized I was playing small, holding back and making excuses. These weren't the qualities I wanted to share with my children or the world. 

I took responsibility for where I was, while at the same time getting clear about where I wanted to go. I realized, if I wanted to see a change in my life, I had to be the one to make it happen. I couldn't rely on someone else, to bring me the actualization of my happiness or goals. If I wanted more, I had to be the one to make it happen. 

I started investing in myself - particularly my mindset. I quickly realized if my mind wasn't in the right place, neither would anything else. The lessons I was learning through the books I was reading, the free courses I was taking, the podcasts I was listening too started to presented to a miracle. A miracle of understanding that I CREATE my reality, through my thoughts, words, actions & if I wanted something to change I would have to adopt and practices these ideas and lessons into my daily routine. THIS message was a true miracle because there was nothing I wouldn't do to change where I was or how I was feeling and the best part was that I didn't need to rely on anyone else to help me get to where I wanted. It was all on me and that was/is powerful. From there I shifted the way I was thinking, and when I did that, I started to feel better. The better I felt, the more creative and confident I became. I prayed and talked to God, asking for the guidance I needed. In this state I was able see possibilities that I couldn't before. Through this energy I was able to take a leap of faith and start my mobile spray tanning business. An idea that always stuck with me since my first job at 16 years old working at tanning salon. 

​

After starting my mobile spray tanning business, I found the financial reward I was desperately seeking. But to my Suprise the greatest blessing of all was that I found a sense of genuine happiness, pride, confidence, and excitement for life. Feelings and emotions that can't be bought or given. In starting my business, learning through the ups and downs, I found incredible happiness and appreciation that I would not have had, if I didn't decide to just go for it, or if someone had just come to bail me out. 

I was able to buy groceries, take my kids to target, help my husband, get an Orange Theory gym membership, go shopping with friends, treat my family, plan a trip to Ireland, open a secondary salon, help other women create a space to home their businesses. I was able to express myself through my work and marketing. I was able to help others look and feel good. I was able to create something out of nothing but an "idea" and a commitment to consistency. Most importantly I was able to be the example I knew I always wanted to be for my children. I am able to show my children anything is possible when you believe in yourself. A lesson that will (God willing) take them very far in life!

Through this experience I gained perspective, and realized that I am not the only one who has felt this type of "stuck". I know that there are SO many women out there who are looking for an opportunity to be, do and have more. Whether they are mothers, careered, retired women or simply lost. There are women out there who want to create more for themselves and/or their family. They want to achieve something they can be proud of. I know that part of my purpose and mission is to help others. I have done it, and know exactly what it takes to make it happen. 

Through my journey I realized that shifts I made through changing my spiritual mindset really propelled my success and presented opportunities greater than I could have imagined. When I started creating my Certification program, I realized that I MUST create an all encompassing mindset training so that others have the same knowledge I did. I believe is the true ingredient to being a success in life. God put me here to experience what I did, find a way out, and show others out they can too!
